Maybe my favorite Christmas song ever, which of course was written by Joni Mitchell. Performed here with worthy vocals but the point is the song and the exceedingly fine jazz arrangement. Mike drop!
By the way, some of the other songs on this album are even better (just not for this theme.) It's a must-listen for devotees of the goddess Joni (who probably don’t need me to tell them) and more to the point for anyone who has somehow gained an impression that Joni isn’t one of the all-time geniuses of North American music.
